Some context: Humphrey and I have been separated for about 16 months. I have finally moved to Oʻahu and this is the first time Humphrey and I are seeing each other in person. Okay, you can start the video.
Come to me
Come to me Mom
Come in here
Come in mom (I want to jump on the bed)
Come in
Seriously, come in
Come to me
Come in here
Really, come in
Come here (I knew it was you the minute you walked inside.)
Come to me (I was a little thrown because I wasn't expecting you.)
Come in here (I know you now as a voice over the phone.)
Come closer. (It's been a long time since I've seen you in person.)
Come to the bed. (I can't interact with you when you are in your chair over there.)
Come in!
(Now you are in position so I can put my scent all over your chair. It really needs it. It doesn't smell anything like me anymore. Other cats won't be aware that you are my human. And it feels good to rub against it. Okay, that's enough, and mom is petting me. Wonderful! I just want to lay down and enjoy smelling her and being close to her. Thank you for moving the sharp brush. Mom's hand is a much nicer pillow. I'm just going to enjoy being like this for a while.)
