Once again, it has been way too long since my last post. My priority for posting is the monthly essays, the blog posts, which would be once a week, tips and tricks, and then Humphrey's news. Basically, I need to write every day, which I am not doing. Maybe every other day. It seems so hard when I'm living in a fish bowl, and the bowl is all I have to think or talk about. Of course, that's not true. I have an entire life to review and savor.
There have been so many times in the past few weeks that I have thought to myself that I can't wait until I blog about this. And then a day goes by, and I don't write it out, and then I move on to the next thing. I think weekly entries are doable, but of course, it doesn't mean crap until I actually do them. Here are some of the things that I could have blogged about.
I had a whole week where I was just dealing with trying to poop. That finally got worked out literally, haha. Gammie came out to do a much needed head rest adjustment. They looked over the chair and made notes about things to repair and replace and improve. I have the Cadillac of chairs, which I guess should be updated to the Tesla of chairs. The forces that be allow for one to get a new chair every 5 years. This chair works great, and I use it so rarely that it will be a while before I need a new one.
I had an outing to go to Ala Moana Center to visit the store where I purchased my glasses. They tweaked them so they hug my skull and don't slide down my nose every time I wear them. Mom and M picked up lunch at CPK which was yummy. I really like the spinach artichoke dip, and they have an amazing key lime pie for dessert. I don't normally spend so much on one lunch, but it lasted four or five meals.
Last Friday, an old high school classmate found out I am living in the hospital, and he lives close by. He messaged me through Facebook, and we have since reconnected. Turns out, he is someone who could bring H to me! Hopefully, he will come by today and meet Mom and Humphrey.
That wasn't so difficult. Making a blog entry was tops in my mind, and I'm glad I got it done. Look for them to appear regularly on Mondays.
